Damaged New Cabinets
Hello all! I've been lurking here a while, and I finally need some feed back.
I am currently in the final leg of a 2 family rehab, (203k) where I will living in one unit. Cabinets (Aristokraft) were delivered this week and a few cabinets were damaged upon receipt. One has a crack in the maple wood front (5" split north to south where opposite of the hinge), and the other damage is on the particle board (3"x 3") near the back of the cabinet at the top.
Is this something I should push my contractor push to have replaced, or should I trust that the carpenter installing them will be able to fix the front ascetically and that the particle board damage is irrelevant to the overall functionality of the cabinets?
