Residential Sprinkler System Cost Experience or Estimate?

This is a new one and prime example of over reach on permissible but near impossible conditions for vacation rental usage.

I have a client on the coast that has identified a vacation rental eligible property, a 3/2 1700SF coastal home with garage and the county requires a sprinkler system for fire suppression as it is considered a ‘commercial’ type usage.

My question is how, and at what cost can the buyer expect to meet this condition of usage?

Any and all input is very much appreciated.
