Hello! I'm looking for someone who is a lender who also does real estate investments themselves. My husband and I are looking to get pre approved for some multi-family / house hacking real estate in either Boise / Ada County or Twin Falls. I've spoken with several lenders but most of them aren't well versed in multi family. They usually say I haven't done one in a while so I'm not sure. Or tell me info I know isn't correct as I've researched it with BP and online. I don't want to keep going from lender to lender to find they're not well versed in what we're looking at.
Can anyone recommend us a lender? Preferably local.

Hi @Carly M. - are you looking for small multi-family (2-4) or larger (which lends itself to a commercial lender)? I know many lenders in Boise, but just would need to know where to direct you.
@Jonna Weber - I realize this is a 4-month delay on the reply. But we're looking for a residential loan, so under 4 units. Any lenders you may know that are familiar with multifamily loans would be helpful! Also, you helped my friends, Amber and Justin Brown find their house in Meridian, I believe. If you know of any 2-4 unit multi families in preferably Boise, but also Meridian / Eagle, we'd love to hear about them. We're on the MLS most every night. We're a small family looking to get into real estate and back to boise, and would like to house hack our way to it.
