Florida sales associate acquiring license legal question

Good day Bp,
So i took my course about 2-3 month and passed my course test , completed the fingerprint process, and went ahead to apply for approval through the DBPR. as I was caught up in the moment (excited and pumped up ready to take my state exam I sent in my application for approval to them) ..... in the DBPR app I included one of my recent ( and only ) charge which was a misdemeanor for possession of Cannabus of <20 grams ( it was literally $10 worth, which was not even mine :the marijuana was property of my acquaintance who's car we were in.

Long story short: the officer pulled up to my friends driver side of the vehicle automatically spotted a nug of the grass on his lap asked that we both stepped out the vehicle. So we followed orders, I unintentionally ended up leaving my JansPort backpack inside of my friends vehicle in the passengers side which i always hold my wallet and other necessities that i refuse to fill up my pockets with to prevent overloaded pockets, so while we are standing in front of the cop car, the officer walked over to where I was (passengers side) of the vehicle searched and raised his hand in the air and said "Look what I found in the black Jan-Sport, a piece of marijuana" and I automatically rejected to the fact and said "thats impossible officer I have not had possession nor smoked marijuana in months if not longer and theres just no possible way you could of found that in there. So we both ended up taking a "written arrest" ticked and were given a court date to appear.....after stressing and replaying everything over my head again and again and again, i finally came to a realization that the same piece he initially grabbed from my buddy's lap was the same piece he claimed to have found in my bag... It might have seemed like we were about to roll it and to get to smoking so I'm sure he wanted us to both to have to deal with the consequences but that was far from the truth....

Anyway, since this unfortunate event happened during my RE course and my DBPR application process, it was standing as an "open case" with no final decision at the moment because of the fact that I agreed to join a 3 month drug court program where Im obligated to get drug tested once a moth and test clean and complete community service hours(25hrs).... ( IM NOT ON PROBATION!) so far I've completed all obligations and by the end of next month the case will be dismissed and the expungement process will begin so my record goes back to squeaky clean how I strive and manage to keep that way , only worry of mine is that i was sent a letter from the DBPR/FREC to join them at a meeting thats being held in Orlando, FL so they can review my case and scenario, i was given the option to bring an attorney with me or just go and represent myself (which is what I'm going to do because i cant afford and attorney to go from Miami to Orlando Florida.

Main Question is......:: Is there someone educated enough on this situation or one similar here to advise me if I'm going to be turned down by FREC when I appear in front of them in Orlando and be ordered to wait to my case is completely over and dismissed and until I'm done completely with my drug court? Or will they allow me to take my state exam and choose my chose of agency that i would like to be a part of for already?

**I've heard of RE Sales associates/agents getting DUI's committing Felonies etc. and them not being penalized for a period of time by DBPR or FREc..

*i could just wait and find out on the day of but im literally loosing sleep every night and this is something ive been wanting for so long and ive just been misserable that my RE employment process is being delayed for such a while for such a petty ordeal, In advance thank you for whoever responds , all your responds are greatly appreciated

[u]MUCH SUCCESS and GOOD LUCK!
