I’m wondering if anyone here works for Compass, or has had any good/bad experiences with the company?? Preferably in the Atlanta area. How do you like it or not? And why?? Looking to sign on with a broker, I’d be a new agent.

I can't speak to Compass specifically, but here's a link to some questions you can ask any broker.

http://www.worldclasscareer.com/

I always suggest you interview several brokerages to find the right fit.   As a new agent one focus you will need is training, so a few very important questions to ask are:

1.  Can I see your training room?  Do they have one?  If not I'm not sure how committed they are to training.

2.  Ask how much the training costs.

3.  Ask to see the training schedule...if they don't have a monthly or weekly schedule, I would also question how serious the brokerage is about training if they don't have a schedule.   Ever broker will tell you they have training, but for some that is self paced, or a book, or all online...and you have to determine if that is the right resource for you.

I also recommend you attend a sales meeting and a training class.  See if you like the instructors.  Get a feel for the people who are there.  Get a feel for the training.  Get a feel for the culture.
