Part-Time Real Estate Agent

Eileen C Corley
Posted

Hi All!

I am interested in exploring becoming a part-time Real Estate Agent.

Does anyone have an opinion on if it is worthwhile to start with part-time work? If so, what pre-licensing course is the best for part-time, best real estate company to work for starting out with part-time work?

Any insight you can proivde is greatly appreciated. :)

Thanks!

Eileen

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: part-time effort will bring you part-time success, at best.

As long as you go into it with realistic expectations, it may be beneficial. 87% of all REALTORS, including those that work at it full-time, quit within their first few years because it is not easy to make a living.

It may be beneficial if you intend to buy/sell multiple properties a year. It depends on your goals.
