Professional Photograghy for Property Listing

Who typically pays for the listing photos? Does the real estate agent hire a professional photographer and pay for it out their pocket to make their listing stand out or do they consult with the seller if they want professional photography done and have the seller pay for it if so?

Also, do photographers typically charge per picture or per sqft?

And are video walkthroughs becoming more common or do they not provide enough value or ROI?

Every deal is different, but in my market the listing agent usually pays for photos. Usually charge per job with a set number of edited photos and optional upgrades like 3D tours, drone shots, etc.
