Texas Realtor’s License

I'm taking my licensing exam in two days. I was wondering how long I can have an inactive license after taking my exam before hanging my license with a broker. Its the end of the year with only two months left and I don't want to rush and hang my license with the wrong broker. Also some brokers charge monthly desk and E&O insurance fees so I would like to wait until January next year to hang my license. To reiterate my original question is: Can I wait two month after passing my exam to hang my license with a broker in Texas?

@Charlie Cameron

Thanks! I read on the Texas Realtors website that an inactive license can be activated at any time in a two year span with no additional educational or exam requirements. I just wanted to ask around to make absolutely sure of it. And I like your idea of joining the MLS early for the added resources.
