Hey BP nation! I was a licensed Realtor 5 years ago in Florida but let it become inactive.
Recently, I took the course again online and was able to get my fingerprints taken at a Pearson Vue location in Tampa and am supposed to wait until I get my results to be able to take the exam.
It's been about 3 weeks now. At the bottom of my receipt, it says it may take up to 60 days to get results! I don't remember waiting very long to take the exam years ago and now I've forgotten most of the material for the exam.
Is this normal or should I inquire. I have clients waiting for me and this is frustrating! ahhh! Thanks for the input!
@Bradley De comarmond Hey, sometimes DBPR runs into a few hiccups. This may be a busy time over there in that office with the holiday season upon us. I would recommend reaching out and calling every few days to inquire on the status. If you don't provide them with a sense of urgency, they will take their time. Best of luck to you. Hopefully you get it done soon, so you can start providing service to those clients and make some money. Much success.
I have to get a new set to take my brokers test. It would seem ONE set is enough...but we are dealing with the government. I haven't submitted mine yet...coming soon! Just another chore.....
It took a week for them to send me an email saying I was approved. This was in September. It really depends on how busy they are at the time. You should be getting that approval any day now. Best Wishes.
