Do real-estate agents earn rent from rental properties they own?
If a REI owns a rental property and has tenants, he gets money from the tenants. What about real-estate agents? If they own a rental property, do they get money from the tenants too? Or is it something else?
I don't know anything about real-estate agents, so I apologize if this is a beginner question! :P

Well, yes the real estate agent who owns a rental property is paid rent by the tenants, just like any other owner. The only difference is that in most states they have to disclose their status as a real estate agent when they are marketing and leasing the property.
