Leasing vs Investment Sales
Hi All,
I have the opportunity to work in a major metro area in commercial real estate as a leasing agent or investment sales agent. I understand what an investment sales broker will do, however, would anyone be able to shed more light on leasing for me? I know one can work as a tenant rep or landlord rep. The leasing opportunity would be under the tutelage of a well known broker, but I can't say leasing seems extremely exciting. To me, it seems as if there is less analysis. Can anyone shed some light on day - to day of leasing and if there is more analysis? My end goals would be to use my commissions to buy small properties for myself (of course that would be in 20 years).
Thank you all!
