Hi Im soon to get my real estate license. I was inspired after reading scott trench's book set for life where he said it would be a good idea to get a commission based job and im going to use it to help my investment strategy. As it goes for the job I have a regular w2 job so im going to be an agent part time just wondering if anyone had helpful advice for me starting out. thanks

Quote from @Marian Huish:

What market are you in @Patrick Hayes?  With low inventory in high interest rates, tough time to get started but really boils down to your market and willingness to do what it takes to succeed. It’s much more difficult than money new agents realize and often takes quite a bit to start building your business. Hang on to your W-2 job for a while until you learn the ropes and start making the right connections. Best of luck.  Happy to have a conversation!

yea my real estate agent told me a lot of agents are dropping their license Im thinking I can learn the ropes now while its slow and by the time business picks up i'll be ready to grow my business.
