Getting Licensed in Another State

Posted

I am a licensed agent in Texas which requires 180 hours of education.  Currently, I am looking at relocating to Indiana and looking to see if anyone has every tried this?  I understand their is no reciprocity but has anyone had luck at avoiding all the schooling and testing again to get licensed in a different state?  Indiana has an education requirement of only 90 hours so, I would imagine my completion of 180 hours would allow some kind of avoidance of retaking the education part.

Also, I have tried to get ahold of their boards up there with no luck!  They keep saying they are short staffed due to COVID.
