Aspiring Investor seeking guidance

Hello - I am an aspiring real estate investor but I'm afraid I'm fallen into the trap of just viewing content / videos over the last year without taking any material action.  I'd like to take the next step but would really appreciate having a resource or a coach to provide guidance or recommendations, at least to get the ball rolling.  Seems likes there's a lot of offerings where people can get mentors but it seems like it could be a trap -- perhaps at a high cost.  Any recommendations or anyone out there that enjoys helping new investors get started, even if its just a few initial conversations ?
