Investing in Columbus, GA

Dana Carr
Posted

Hi I’m newer to the brrrr method and looking for properties in Columbus,GA. I recently moved to the greater Atlanta area and I’m learning the market in Georgia. My other rental is in my old city. I’m trying to connect with others investing in this area and also realtors and property managers. Is it a good area to buy and hold? Are rents steady?

@Dana Carr

Congratulations on getting started and welcome to the forum.

Atlanta has been market that has seen great growth in areas like jobs, job diversification, rent growth, population growth. The market has become more competitive within the perimeter and surrounding suburbs but has also provided opportunities in tertiary markets like Dawsonville.

Best of luck and congrats again on getting started.
