House-Hacking in Central Connecticut

Hey everyone,

I am looking to get my feet wet in real estate investing by starting with a multifamily home to house hack. Does anyone have any experiences with multifamily properties in Central Connecticut? Primarily looking in the areas of Hartford, Middletown, and New Haven.

Hi Will, welcome to the wonderful world of real estate! I am currently househacking a duplex in Manchester and looking for a few more. We’re renovating our unit (live-in flip hack?!) and waiting until our inherited tenants’ lease expires so we can renovate the other unit before refinancing and finding another property to house hack.
