Preparing for Investing

Joseph Gustafson
Posted

Hello my name is Joe Gustafson and I am an 18 year old from Minnesota. I am heading off to college next month for a business degree and I plan to invest in real estate once I graduate. I was wondering what I should do financially in order to prepare for when I am able to invest. I was thinking about putting my money in an index fund to work as a sort of savings account through college. I was also thinking about a Roth IRA but I know that taking money out of an IRA is very difficult. I would love to hear some opinions and recommendations on this topic. Happy Investing! Thanks!
