Just moved to Volusia County Florida. Looking for advice/meetups

I have just moved to Port Orange with my family. My wife has a job in Daytona Beach and I'm currently at home with the kids until school starts. I was an HVAC journeyman in Oklahoma for the last 10 years, but really would like a career change. That being said I realize that line of work could be very beneficial for investing. I figure I could handle a lot of the rehab myself. My wife makes enough to cover all our bills, and we currently have zero debt, good credit, and about $10,000 in savings. Can I hustle with all the choose your own schedule type jobs (Uber, Post mates, Shipt) while investing, or is that unrealistic? . I do have a rental property in Midwest City, Oklahoma, but my parents live there and I don't make any profit from it. It needs some work and was wondering if I could essentially BRRRR it with them still living in it? Any advice is greatly appreciated as this is a completely new adventure for me.
