VA Occupancy GUIDELINES
I’ll start by giving some Backround. I’m getting out of the army in a year, I’m currently looking to by a duplex. Ive been approved for 400,000 i am a single 23 y/o male. My fiancé’s credit is trash and if I marry her before hand I might not be able to get this amount. My plan is to marry her. I’m also currently on a deployment and serving on active duty right now. I want to buy the home in my home state of MN. I’m about to put a offer on house. I’m wondering if after I get the loan can I marry my fiancé and change my resident address to my future home and have her occupy the home until I ETS does that work? Will I run into any issues with my lender?
I read online that a spouse will suffice
