Seeking Advice While Starting Out (+ 3 houses & 1 four-plex)

Hello! My name is Jake and I'm currently a student in Columbia, SC trying to learn all that I can about real estate investing and make my first deal happen.

I have been seeking ways to get into this business with the very little capital and experience that I have. Wholesaling seems like a good entry point (learning how to locate deals and network with other investors), so I've been driving for dollars and looking for motivated sellers. In my search, I happened to get in contact with a seller after calling a FSBO sign I saw in front of their property. I asked questions and found that they also have three other properties they are looking to sell but haven't marketed (3 single family homes and one four-plex building total). They shared their reason for letting them go, and I asked if they'd be interested in selling them all at once if I could arrange that to which they replied yes.

I have no experience, but if there's an opportunity for a deal here I want to see what I can make happen. Any advice on different possibilities of such a deal would be greatly appreciated, as well as any advice on getting started in real estate investing in general.

In addition, if you're in the area let's connect! I am currently in Columbia but live in Charleston, SC when I'm not at school. I would love to meet others with more knowledge than I and bring value to you in any way that I can. Thanks!
