Good evening! First post! Regular podcast listener and forum browser.

I have been looking to invest in a STR. Originally was thinking Ski country up in the northeast. I live just south of Boston. So close by.

Being a skier, with a family that is looking to learn themselves, thought about a STR that could be utilized when not rented. Looked up in the North Conway/ Jackson NH area as well as Mt snow VT.

The more I was researching and learning, I found out about  the Gatlinburg area. Really peaked my interest. The more I read.... the more appealing it sounds.

Just curious if it’s still a good investment down there. What’s the inventory like and if it still has potential.

I did some very quick browsing on VBRO and saw a lot of open days/weeks. 

In the beginning stages but looking to get some feedback and make some connections.
