Contractor going into RE investing

My story is simple - I am a hardwood flooring contractor who is selling his home here in California. I plan to use the accumulated equity to start a new business/life in Knoxville TN.

First few homes I plan to flip myself. I’ve remodeled two of my homes previously and I believe that can help me out as I start this journey.

I would greatly appreciate advice of other contractors and professionals who already went through similar transition scenarios.

Any recommendations?

Also, shout out to Knoxville professionals from RE investment world - where can I connect and start networking?

Thank you in advance
