24 year old looking to get into real estate
Hi everyone!
My name is Jonathan Greenfield and I am new to BiggerPockets/real estate in general. My goal is to achieve financial freedom by 30 through real-estate investments and rental properties providing me with passive income each month. I wanted to reach out to this awesome community to learn about getting started!
My plan is to initially focus on investing in single-family homes within Denver, Colorado. My goal would be to feel confident both financially/in terms of real estate literacy to actively be searching for my first rental property at the end of 2021/start of 2022.
I have zero experience in real estate but truly believe in the value of this investment vehicle. Beyond any insights into the best resources to help me get started, I would love to connect with some like-minded individuals willing to share their experiences and knowledge pertaining to real estate.
Thanks to everyone in advance for any help or insights, and I look forward to becoming more and more involved within this community going forward!

Welcome, Jonathan. I highly encourage you to figure out how to analyze deals. There are plenty of blogs and podcasts about it. I believe Brandon is still doing a weekly analysis video on the Youtube channel.
Once you understand how to analyze, take a look at the Denver market. I think you'll find that properties don't generally cash flow there. That means you may have to look at investing in a different market.
