@Jamie Mason

Ah I see! How'd your first flip go? Was that one that you stayed in or strictly just a flip? I'm curious

And yeah totally, market is so crazy. Everyone wants too dollar for their property cause alot of people know the demand is so high. I haven't made any offers yet but I'd imagine even the off market deals would be hard cause all the comps in the area would be so high but that might just be an excuse I'm using to not make a move.

I am right there with you though. It is daunting!

@Jamie Mason

I'd imagine Florida and Arizona would be great places for STR's too but from what I've been hearing, always good to have a few different strategies in your tool belt if the short term doesn't work out right away.

One of the episodes I listened to David mentions the traveling nurses is a great way to make up for the vacation rentals. There's a website where you can register and sometimes the nurses will book your rental for a month, sometimes up to 6 months.

@Alexander Trotter

My first flip went great! I completed the design process myself since I have a background in interior design, but I hired a GC to do all of the work. I netted $25K before taxes, after all expenses including carrying costs, and I made a new homeowner very happy.

I actually have a friend who is a traveling nurse and I have several questions written down to ask her. I remember that episode; I believe the mentioned service was Furnished Finders, and I think it's a great option.

@Jamie Mason

That is too cool. Did you have a favorite part to the flip? Part of the process that you liked most?

Also, how in depth was the flip?

And yeup! That was the episode I was thinking of!

Or that he has tiny biceps😂😂

That was my initial thought. There is probably a clause in his contract that states that as a face of BP he is not allowed to post on certain topics I.e. politics. I thought BP most likely confronted him about certain post and he refused to comply.

The episodes were not so much information based and fully explained for rookies..

There was too much hype and less content and practical use.

Hosts come and go and it's good to change and hear different perspectives...

His political views and put posts has nothing to do with that and i hope it was not the reason.

 I did not mean to suggest this as a fact, I outlined it that way in an attempt to communicate my thought, sorry. It was just the first thing that I thought when I heard he was being replaced.

I love the fact that this post went from "Why did Felipe leave?" to "dunno" to "probz baby biceps" to "I've got STRs in Florida" to "probz baby biceps"

God I love the internet

@Tucker Cummings

It's all jokes man. I really liked Felipe, just was shocked when no explanation was given. Not that it REALLY matters but I guess as humans, we all wanna know why things are the way they are. I hope he's doing well with whatever he's doing. A few of us were just poking fun at the situation. No hard feelings towards him.

Don’t know the dude well but he rubbed me wrong after finding the podcast. He reps Nashville all the time. My sister in law moved there early 2020 and didn’t know where to buy. She contacted him on BP and his reply was straight ridiculous. So cocky, not helpful and told her to dump her current agent and hire his wife. Total d-bag. Happy he’s gone.

Wasn’t my intention but who doesn’t enjoy a good laugh. I’m not here to destroy the guy but if I posted the sheer juxtaposition between her thoughtful email asking for rookie guidance and his response people would understand why he’s off the podcast.

Honestly dude never let Ashley get a word in if you listen back. I think he liked the sound of his own voice a bit too much to be a co-host.
