Where do I start? ideas

Since im 18 with no credit and a minum wage paying job I am not sure where I should start to becoming a real estate investor...I've gotten advice to buy a cheap maybe two bedroom home and rent it out, fix it up and maybe hold it till i can sell it for more...But how can i evn buy a house with no money? should i have a family member co-sign? What should i do? i would like some responses:) if anyone can help me:) im meeting my mentor today and ill ask him the same thing! but its always good to know other's answers! thank you everyone...so far I have posted backpages and craigslist and now here...are there any investors looking too invest their time into me...i work hard and i will make it worth your investment! But other then that please ...I could use ideas
