New to Real Estate/ Property Manager
Hello,
I live near York, PA. I’ve been doing general construction and property maintenance for 15 years. My wife and I flipped our first property and plan to rent it. I would like to start my own property management company which offers full service maintenance.
Started researching and to be a small property manager you need a broker's license ? Can anyone confirm this ? I do not plan to sell or list property on the MLS.
Any advice helps. Thanks

The two states I've had properties in both required PMs to have brokers licenses. This is true even if they don't dabble in buying and selling. Most property managers in my area are tied to real estate brokerages. You may be able to find a brokerage that doesn't have a PM dept and get a partnership started.
