Newbie looking for mentor in Hawaii

Hello,
I am looking to become a future real estate investor. I know that this would be something I would very much enjoy and also the income that comes along with it would be great. I have very little knowledge of this business but I know that this is something that I am really interested in pursuing.

I am a single mother of two and I also work full-time and I am willing to sacrifice my time in order to become an expert in this field, but I have no idea where or how to start!!!

Are there any current real estate investors on the island of Oahu who are willing to be a mentor or know of any other investors who would do the same? What books, websites, or courses should I look into? Even for those who are not in Hawaii what tips and advice could you provide that would help me? I look forward to seeing everyones comments.

Thank you!
