Future Oregon Buy/Hold Investor
Hey Everyone!
My name is Cody and I’m from Salem, Oregon. I just recently found out about Bigger Pockets and have been listening to tons of the podcast episodes and lurking around the forums. I figured it was finally time to introduce myself and my goals. Hopefully I can connect with some like minded people in my area.
My wife and I plan to go in the buy/hold direction with a focus on small multi family properties. Our end goal is to build a retirement portfolio with buy and hold rentals. We hope to purchase in the greater Salem area since that is where we live. We are also hoping to find and close on our first deal by the end of this year. We also plan to house hack since it will be our first home.
In the next few weeks to months I’m hoping to connect with a real estate agent, so if you know someone in the area you would recommend please let us know.
Well, that’s a little big about me and my plans. Feels good to finally put them in writing for others to see. So far is just been casual conversations with friends and family. Needless to say, I am every excited for the future.
Also does anyone know if there are any meetups in the Salem area?? I couldn’t find anything on the forums.
