Hi all,

I have been on Bigger Pockets for a little while, soaking up the information, so thank you for all the brave souls that post and respond on the website. I have recently decided to start my investment journey in the Buffalo area. I have lived in the area since 2017. But I plan to move across the country soon due to my occupation (military). I want to continue investing from afar, maybe one property a year. A few properties caught my eye however since I will be moving into the property for a while, and I want good tenants, therefore I want to ensure that the neighborhood isnt too sketchy. My budget is about 150k. For all my people from WNY... What do you think about North Tonawanda?  A new of my friends said stay away from Niagara Falls because it is run down so I marked that off the list. So far I like the Ken/ton area but it is hard to find deals up here. I know the west side is coming up but its hard for me to judge the good areas, since it changes from street to street. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
