I'm looking to start investing in Single-Family homes in Durham, Raleigh NC (and surrounding areas).

If you have just ONE piece of advice you can give me, what would that be?

Any response is welcome...good, bad, and in-between.

@Vic Oyedeji

Hi Vic, my husband and I both live in Raleigh, are brokers and currently own 8 sfh in the market. We also help a lot of our friends buy income properties and then we manage for them. Over the last few years our returns have been close to 16-18%. The last year that number has dipped closer to 13-14% but still great returns! We have a few favorite pockets that rent fast and strong. There is so much demand here. We really like a few areas in Wake Forest and a few areas in Raleigh (Hedingham is one)for the strongest rents and fastest turnarounds.

We have a very small, local FB group of our network of friends and investors that we share a lot of info to, about the market and when we spot a great deal. We can connect if you’d like to be a part of that or just talk more. LMK! Lori
