Complete Real Estate Newbie

Dear All,
I am a big fan of the BiggerPockets Real Estate and Money podcasts, and this is my first time asking for advice. I apologize if this has been asked before, but I am still learning to navigate through all the content here, hence, finding information related to this has not been straightforward.

I see the tremendous wealth creation potential real estate provides all individuals. I would like to focus my niche on single family homes as investment rental properties. As a complete newbie, how do I learn all that I need to in order to have the confidence and knowledge to begin investing?

In addition to listening to the podcast, reading the Ultimate Beginner’s Guide and Brandon Turner’s The Book on Real Estate Investing, and taking the free course, are there any other books or resources that you recommend? Nothing beats actual hands on experience of going through the process of analyzing deals and purchasing your first rental property, however, I want to be as prepared as I can.

Please let me know all I need to do to to go from newbie to a sophisticated real estate investor. Thank you all for your advice!

Best regards,

Steve
