Help for next steps with potential deal in Kansas City
Hi Biggerpockets community,
before I post my question(s), I would like to let all of you know that every time I spend time on the forums here, I am amazed how helpful people are and how strong of a real community Biggerpockets is. It just fills me with joy :)
I am excited of what I will learn through this thread:
I found a potential (very) good deal in Kansas City, MO (SFR) that will need some work. The seller is also willing to to go with seller financing as an option.
So far I haven't seen the interior of the house and therefore have no idea how much work will actually be needed. The owner has a lockbox installed, so the house can be seen at any time. Since I am an OOS investor, I cannot personally be there. Can I just send a general contractor to the house and ask for a potential SOW to fix the entire house and if the numbers make sense just try to close the deal? If so, does anyone know a great general contractor?
I haven't done a BRRRR project yet (only turnkey so far), so I would like to get some suggestions on how to approach the next steps.
If anything is unclear or my English was difficult to understand, please bear with me, I am not a native speaker.
Thanks in advance and have a great weekend!
Andi
