I am in a situation where I am due to return back to America. I want to return and give wholesaling in my local market a go. I don't think it is the wisest to bank on reserved money while I wait for a deal. And even when I get a deal I wouldn't want to use the money made for living expenses.
For those who were working while your achieved your first few wholesale deals, what were your jobs that allowed you be flexible?

Hey how are you doing Jalen I would say majority of us didn't have jobs that were flexible while pursuing real estate. Personally I worked as a mover in the morning and a bouncer in the evening.
Days I was off from the moving job or any free time I had went to my Real estate from Re-Vamping my marketing strategy, Networking, Talking to probate,Divorce attorneys or power of attorney's on a property.
So you're going to have to squeeze whatever free time you have and focus on what you want to do. Believe me that first check made me feel like doing backflips up and down the street.

@Jalen Brinkerhoff Im afraid my story isnt the best example of what to do. But I saved up enough money to pay my living expenses for about 8 months, then I quit my job, moved to Dallas from Ann Arbor Michigan and jumped right into learning how to wholesale. I am one of those people that works best under pressure. I wouldn’t recommend that people follow my example, but I hope it helps you find the courage to get out there and do it. Theres never going to be a perfect moment when you feel 100% ready, there will always be something else you could learn or some skill you dont quite have. You just have to get out there, get dirty, make mistakes and learn from them. Good luck! Feel free to reach out if you have questions!

@Lydia T. You got guts. Best of luck. Quit my job recently, a big reason I was able to do it is due to my real estate investments. Just accepted an offer for a bit of a lesser job in hopes to kickstart my RE investing again.
