Jacksonville, Florida city requirements?

Hi BP, what do you have to do after purchasing a rental property in Jacksonville, FL as far as city's requirements? Do you have to register the property with the city? Or do you have to apply for a rental license and renew it every year? Things like that. Thank you

There are no city requirements for rentals. If you plan a Airbnb or similar shorter vacation rentals some of the surrounding municipalities are discussing limiting these operations so keep that in mind. Also HOAs have their own restrictions. But if you're not In an HOA and in the county limits you're good to go.
