House for $2k, agent wants $2k needs full gut (mold, etc)
So Im a newbie and I met a guy whose willing to sell me a property in the NE region of the USA for $2k and it would be 2k in commission. From my research, I know that listing agents typically get 3.5-6% of the sales price. The property is extra damaged and needs all new everything ....but, he says that the bank would be responsible for all liens, if any. He says that he's the listing agent's assistant. What do I do?
