refi from va loan to conventional
Hi BP,
Heres my question..i am being told by a lender that in order to refi from a VA loan to conventional the change in loans will have to be beneficial to me..in other words the loan should have a "shorter term and / or a better rate" otherwise it cant be refinanced. I will at some point want to refi my VA loan to a conventional to recapture my VA entitlement. Has anyone ever heard of this? I find it hard to believe that this is true. I called Navy Fed and they said they had never heard of this..thoughts?
