Investing in Minnesota

Hello, I am looking to start my investing career in central Minnesota. I am trying to stay away from the twin cities area so that prices are more affordable. That being said, I also realize that I am going to have to look harder for good tenants. I’d like to go small multi family for the first property but if the deal is there for a single family, I’d be open to that as well. Are there any other investors in the area that would be open to help with their property management in exchange for advice/help. Thank you, Preston Zimny

Hi @Preston Zimny,  smaller towns further from the cities can certainly be profitable.  I invest in St. Cloud in select areas.  The most important thing is to study the market you are interested in.  What is the demand for rentals, what industries are there to bring in jobs,  how many homes are being built compared to the number of people moving there etc etc.   There are certainly deals out there.  Best of Luck! Feel free to DM me with any specific questions you may have.  And be sure to reach out to @Tim Swierczek to get financing set up.  Tim knows the best loan products and he also has several rental properties.  He'll be able to provide you with lots of valuable information.
