Mortgage Broker Disappeared? Help!

Account Closed
Posted

I've been working with this mortgage broker that I found here on BiggerPockets. He was very helpful and responsive at first, and gave me the cost worksheet etc. But after I submitted my full application, along with all the financial documents that he asked for, he just disappeared: never responded to my application, no response to my followup email or phone calls.

Has anyone encountered a situation like this? What would be your course of action? I'm trying to purchase a 2 family in north Jersey. If anyone can help me find a solid lender I would really appreciate it.

Hey Ria, a friend of mine is a mortgage broker.  Would you be living in the house, or purchasing as an investment?

Feel free to PM me to continue this discussion if you still need help.
