Advice for a newbie! NY or FL
Hey everyone, my name is Carmine and I am looking to get started in REI. A friend and I have both been reading BP and listening to the podcasts for the past 6 months or so. We have also been reading a lot of the books and resources mentioned in the forums. While we are both in Central Florida currently, and looking to partner on our first deal, we both have roots up north. For me specifically, the upstate New York area. I am wondering what advice you all might have, as properties in Florida higher, so should we look up north for a property that might be a bit easier for us to finance. Is that a better option to get started? Thanks for your input, and happy to be here on BP!
