Looking for suggestions on long distance investing
Good afternoon all, my name is drew and i am very green to the world of rentals and real estate. I currently just purchased my first multifamily here in rhode island and am in the process of moving in my first tenants ( i live in the bottom apartment). My next move may be bold, and many may say farfetched... but my girlfriend currently lives in pensacola fl. and i would like to make my way down there sooner than later. how would you guys suggest getting geared up and ready to do so? the market down there is nothing like i am use to seeing up here in the northeast, but from what i have seen in town, a lot of new business is coming in and i would love to get my hands on a cheap house to use as an SFR down there. is being a property owner from a long distance only for the experienced? am i just reaching for the stars here?
