Wanting to learn more about wholesale

I recently went to a free seminar with my mom about wholesale buying, after the seminar they talked a whole bunch of us into buying the next 3 day class. We signed up, went to the class only to find out that, of course, there is another advanced training for 38k. Being 22 and working a minimum wage job to just get by, I can not afford that. With going to the first class, I do have access to funding. With that being said, I know a few things, very few things, about wholesale flipping and would like to know more. I'm very motivated and know real estate is totally my knitch. I just would love some advice or to hear how someone started out!
