Hello Nashville! Meet Meridith...

I've been listening to the BP podcast for about a year now and this is my first post. I found BP when googling some landlord questions for my two condos. My first tenant was my boyfriend (now husband). He does NOT share my passion for REI (and I can live with that, because he's great!). I have a kick *** job mitigating the opioid crisis in our healthcare system at an amazing company in downtown Nashville. In the meantime, I really want to find sound real estate investments. I just listened to podcast 237 and I am the female version of the host, Ian Reeves (plus a husband and two-year old). If you are in Tennessee/Western Kentucky and listened to that podcast and thought, I need that person in my life, then please reach out to me.

My questions/comments:

Is a PRO membership worth the cost for a part-time investor?

Can you recommend an accountant in Nashville?

Are you a local "seasoned" investor willing to chat with a newbie?  I have a serious passion for analyzing data that could easily be put to use for someone with a database... or I can help you determine what kind of data points you should be recording in order to learn more from your business.

Or are you a newbie who wants someone to keep them accountable (think gym partner)?

If you have a property that would make a good BRRRR, please include me in your communications.

@Meridith Peratikos welcome to the BP forums and the REI community. Your enthusiasm is definitely inspiring. Ultimately a "Pro" membership is a great investment if you are willing to put the work into the forums. Those that say a "Pro" membership is not worth it are not using it to its full potential. Likewise, it is much like REI itself. You get out what you put in. Ultimately, I also keep and renew a Pro membership to give back to BP for all the knowledge they have provided our company. We would not be where we are today without this site and community. IK that for a fact but I suppose that does make me a little bias. A membership even a "Plus" or "Pro" is way cheaper than any guru program. Good luck with all your future REI ventures!
