How to Begin Flipping Houses as a College Graduate
Hello all! So I am really interested in diving into real estate investing, specifically house flipping. I have a real passion/attraction to the rehab process. As for my background, I currently have no experience in any real estate investment whatsoever, besides what I've read in "Real Estate Investing for Dummies" and also from watching HGTV haha. I also plan on reading "Flip: How to Find, Fix, and Sell Houses for Profit."
I am currently heading into the last semester of my undergraduate degree in civil engineering. I will graduate in December 2017 and have a job lined up for me as an engineer once I graduate. I plan to work full time in civil engineering once I graduate so that I can continue saving money so I can possibly place a down payment on a flip house.
What are things that I should be doing now and once I graduate school to begin flipping houses? I know educating myself on all things house flipping is essential, but I am not sure when I will know that I'm ready to start. Because obviously I'm not going to be able to teach myself everything just by reading, but I figure I should know the basics very well before beginning. So yeah, what are some things I should do now and also things I should do once I feel have educated myself enough? How do I get started? All advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
