Hi all, I am a 23 year old recent college grad - Have been working full time and since college, I will have accumulated $20k in cash to start my real estate portfolio. I have been looking in the Baltimore / Towson area for the last 4 months as I understand the market (going to school here and being a renter). Have had a couple deals fall through right before getting them both under contract for different reasons. Question is simple and open ended and I remember this being a point to ask in a few of the guests on the podcast. What would you do in my position?

I have been looking for a single family to get a house hack and rent to college students (or young professionals) because they pay usually per bedroom rather than a family who would pay average rental rates). I have been networking heavy AND am actually helping promote an event Brandon Turner will be at in September. (( https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wealth-building-summi... ))

Looking forward to any advice comments!

Thanks in advance.

@Sahil Ran, I may see you at the event... still waiting on Cecil to call me! You should come to one of our Friday lunches and meet up with Ben and Jonathan Moschel . They are 21, went to TSU- and dropped out to do REI. They are killing it. They can give you some great info on house hacking in the Towson area. As far as what to do goes- it really depends on your goals and what you are willing to do to achieve them
