Online Realestate license in NJ?

Question

I am trying to get my realestate license in NJ online but i cant seem to find any online courses for it. I know i have to take the prelicense course but the only courses i find thats online are for other states not including NJ. So are there any online courses that offers this for NJ? Or am i forced to take a live course for the pre license. I do need this right or can i just go straight to the actual test?

Hi I have been using real estate express to study for my state exam. It has been all online. The reason I signed up for it was b/c it was only $100. I really hope the laws have changed since 2017 b/c I've been at this for 2 months and I think I'm ready to take the exam. I guess I'll go double check to see if I have to go start the class in person. Does anybody know? Thanks.

Unfortunately I don't, this was five years ago, it was a promotion they were running. Cheapest I've seen have been like $178 on Groupon.

I agree with Manny, they give you one year to take the exam. You can study as much as you need or take it as many times as you need be within that year. Keep in mind each time you take the state exam, you will be charged for it. I don't know any schools around the Edgewater area, but I went to Weichert's Real Estate school. They were giving a great deal I couldn't pass up. $99 for the course which is typically $300-400 dollars. You have to pass a pre licensing test, which the school will administer, which will give a pass for you to take the state exam.

@Nirzhar Kar , after you pass the pre license class you have 1 year to take the RE exam to get licensed. You can take as long as you want (within the 1 year) to take the exam.

Can you recommend me any good real estate courses in or near edgewater nj for the prelicense?And also after the prelicense, do i have to take X amount of hours in person for the actual test as well? Or can i just take the main test right after by studying on my own.

I am mainly getting this for further knowledge and also because it will help in my flipping houses ventures.
