Pre-Approval and Property Approval

Hi folks,

New to Bigger Pockets and thought I'd drop my first question this morning. I'm currently learning about the Pre-Approval and Property Approval processes for a conventional loan from a lender. 

If you were to suggest what kind of paperwork to take for each (salary data, credit score, P&S agreement, etc.), what would be the ideal package?
