A hand shake to my dream

Good Day All,

I'm Wyatt a Newbie with a strong passion for real estate and an even stronger passion to change my family tree! From the time I was a kid I always had a specific interest in real estate but didn't understand at the time that I could make a great living off of it. Shortly after high school I enlisted in the United States Coast Guard which took me to places all over the U.S, unfortunately it wasn't what I wanted to continue doing as a career and I knew I could do better outside of the Coast Guard, I decided to finish out my enlistment after 8 years of service to follow my desire to be an entrepreneur, I started working with my dad at his  shop hoping to help him turn it around but unfortunately his drive to grow has decreased and I decided to work toward my life goal to be in real estate investing. So with 1500$ in savings I went to the local RE school (still attending) at the end of Jan,2017 and pay 500$ for classes to get my license. Before the start of class I introduced myself to two lady's (mother and daughter) and shook their hand. This act alone opened a door to my future in RE investing. The daughter (an eloquent middle age woman) invited me and my family (wife and two children) to her boyfriend she super bowl party( the were Pats fans). Her boyfriend just happened to the owner of a development company and the owner of the luxury development he lived in. While there i met a flipper/wholesaler and had a great conversation with him, then i made the biggest networking fail, I never got his contact info, feeling kind of down after the party and going back to work with my dad i got a random from the Flipper/ wholesaler asking me if I'd like to pick up a few hours and start to learn the trade. Of course I took the offer. so this is my first week and feeling extremely positive about the future, and going to work hard to get my first deal within a year! Thanks for reading.
