Interested in Starting Land Investing -- But HOW?

So for the past month or so I've been listening to Mark Podolski talk about the beauty of land investing, which got me fascinated.

He talks about direct mailing and things of that nature to find buyers, but where do you go to find these addresses to mail to?

I have been looking for literature or somewhere to learn about this business (Mark Podolski's course is astronomically expensive for a college guy like me) where I can learn a really great blueprint on the industry but can't seem to find anything.

Please thoughts? Are there any land investors willing to let me pick their brain for a little bit?

Happy new year everybody!
