If I could go back with the knowledge I have now...

I'm a fresh newbie, but I know that if I could go back with the (little) knowledge i have now, I would have started grinding trying to learn the ins and outs of RE two years ago when i first thought of RE as a means to make a living.

My question for you is: If you could go back to when you first joined the game what would you do differently? Would you have taken a different approach? And most importantly, what questions would you ask? What crucial knowledge would you seek that would be most beneficial for your time and conducive to your goals?
