What to say to a potential Mentor ?

I'm about to meet with a potential mentor and want to make a great impression . What should I say and things I shouldn't ? Or just any advice would be greatly appreciated ! Thank bp community

The only thing I can offer to her that she might value , is my time . I told her I can go to properties that she may not be able to see , run comps for her , take photos for her and told her what ever she needs that I'll do for her

Hi Zach, I saw you're in chula vista, I'm in lemon grove. I would just recommend approaching with a servant mindset and I think you will do well. I'm curious to see what those with more experience have to say though.

This is so timely!  I reached out to a possible mentor after one of the webinars said to "take some kind of action."  I have listened to his past radio shows and liked the fact that he was a one time Fedex employee turned RE "Big Noise.  He said that around Mar. he'd be looking for an intern.   I think when I referred him to my school district website and he saw an older woman, the gray hair might have scared him off.  We'll see as I told him the dates and times  I was available to meet him (anytime I wasn't sleeping or teaching my classes, but I'd get a sub in a heart beat)! I'm way past eager to begin this new opus of my life, and I believe he is the one.  How are your verbal communication skills?  If they're good, let her know you can take messages and make calls for her.  This is a much valued skill as well. Good luck!
